We supply and pour only. You will need your own concreter to manage the formwork, laying and finishing. Once your formwork is ready and your concreter is on site, we deliver the concrete you need in the right mix and the right quantity.

Slab and Driveway FAQS
Q: Do Duggans do the full driveway construction, including preparation and finishing?
A: No. Duggans supplies and pours the concrete only. You will need your own concreter to handle the base preparation, formwork, laying and finishing. If you need a local concreter, ask us when you call.
Q: What concrete mix is best for a house slab?
A: Most standard residential house slabs are recommended with general purpose or micro fibre mix. The specifications are based on your engineer's requirements and site conditions.
Q: How do I calculate how much concrete I need?
A: As a general guide, a standard 100mm thick slab requires 0.1 cubic metres per square metre. Multiply length by width by 0.1 for the volume in cubic metres. Then, add 5% to 10% extra to account for uneven ground or spillage. Your concreter will generally calculate and order your concrete.

A: Yes. We supply big or small quantities for any application across Southern Tasmania.
