Our Story
Duggans began in 1927 when founder Harry Duggan purchased his first truck and started a transport business in Cradoc, deep in the Huon Valley. Nearly a century later that same family spirit drives everything we do.
Over the decades the business grew steadily with purpose. In the late 1970s Duggans added a concrete batch plant, bringing premix concrete supply to the local market. When long haul from Hobart quarries proved costly and inefficient, Duggans extended their own quarry to produce quality concrete aggregates right here in the valley.
Today Duggans is the only fully integrated operation in Southern Tasmania that includes an onsite quarry, batch plant, precast factory and civil earthworks team, all under one roof. What started with one truck is now a multi-departmental solution for builders, developers, councils and communities across the region.
We are wholly family owned, based in Cradoc, and proudly Tasmanian.
